Adobe Abandons iPhone Development

It seems like Adobe has given up on the dream to launch Flash apps/players on the iPhone. The company will still deliver the iPhone compiler with Flash CS5, but it will already be an end-of-life product.

Adobe Delays Flash 10.1 For Mobile Phones

In an interview with Fox Business, Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen announced that the launch of Flash 10.1 for mobile phones has been delayed till the second half of 2010.

4.0: Apple Bans External Compilers

Apple Bad news for web services and Adobe as Apple has updated the terms and conditions for iPhone developers yet again. Through article 3.3.1 the use of external compilers has been prohibited.

Adobe Releases CS5 Showcase App

Adobe Adobe has released Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro Mobile on the iPhone to demonstrate the app building power that will be embedded in the new CS5 release of their Adobe Flash software.

DevCon: RIM and Adobe Team up

Adobe RIM has announced a new collaboration with Adobe to bring rich internet content to the BlackBerry platform. The collaboration will allow Flash developers to bring their creations to the platform.
