Zeptolab Strikes Gold with Cut the Rope

Zeptolab is an average-sized game developer based in Russia, with Misha Lyalin as its chairman and CEO. For a small company, Zeptolab sure made its mark by releasing a couple of games that really hit it big a couple of years ago. However, the most popular game that the company created and continues to be one of the most downloaded apps for handheld devices is Cut the Rope Game. The app, since being released in 2010, has been well-received by critics and became a sensation among gamers who are particularly into puzzle games.

The Angry Birds Turn Two

Rovio’s Angry Birds have a reason to celebrate this weekend as the franchise has turned two this weekend. To celebrate, Rovio and Chillingo have updated the Angry Birds and Angry Birds HD games on iOS with 15 new levels and a brand new orange bird to throw around.

App Store Hits 500.000 Apps – Infographic

Cut The Rope Wins BAFTA Award

Great news for Zeptolab and it’s publisher Chillingo last night as the game Cut The Rope is the first iOS game to secure a BAFTA award. The game had to shake off various DS and PSP titles.

EA: Free to Play and Online Become Core

Rovio Launches Angry Birds Free on App Store

Secret Exit Moves Away from Chillingo
