Motorola Unveils the Xoom Tablet

Motorola has finally unveiled their new Xoom tablet during the CES. The Xoom runs on Android 3.0 Honeycomb and has a Nvidia Tegra-2 1Ghz processor on board combined with 1 GB DDR2 memory.

Microsoft Developing ARM Branch of Windows 7?

If rumors are right, Microsoft is nearly ready with a special version of Windows 7 that is able to run on ARM-based processors. This would improve Windows 7’s scalability toward tablet based devices.

Google Delays Google TV Launches

It seems Palm has been saved for now by Elevation Partners. The investors have put $ 100 million into the hardware company (not to be mistaken from the company that produces Palm OS).

Nova, Palm’s New OS

2008 seems the be the year of the OS. We've seen Symbian change hands, Symbian UIQ die, Android launch and hey, in the last second, good old Palm announces a new OS (which probably means they will ditch their old one).
