Mogees Acquires Berrystore

Mobile billing provider Mogees has announced the acquisition of Berrystore. Berrystore is an App Store like sales channel that is aimed at the BlackBerry platform. Unlike RIM?s official BlackBerry World shop, Berrystore offers more variation in pricing levels.

Pwn2Own 5 Smartphone OS’s Remain Unhacked

During the Pwn2Own hackers event, organizer Tippingpoint challenged the hackers to find exploits for Android, iPhone, BlackBerry, Symbian and Windows Mobile. In the case that an exploit would be found, that hacker would be awarded $10K.

RIM’s Application Center only for Bold and Storm

Rim seems to be limiting it's BlackkBerry App Store (called Application Center) to it's high end models. Right now that means that it will become available for only the Bold and the Storm models.
