Nielsen: iTunes Best and Windows Marketplace Worst App Store

Nielsen has surveyed 4.000 consumers about their usage of app stores. The survey shows that consumers are very satisfied about Apple, but are less happy with Microsoft’s efforts.

Windows Marketplace and BlackBerry App World Most Expensive App Stores

Distimo has released their January 2010 report and this time, they took a look at App Store pricing (amongst others). It turns out that Windows Mobile and BlackBerry have the most expensive app stores.

BlackBerry App World, the RIM App Store

A big day for fans of the BlackBerry platform as RIM has informed the public about the new name of it's App Store initiative will be BlackBerry App World. At the same time, RIM also revealed some more details about it.
