It seems that Apple, Google, Microsoft and others might be facing Korean problems in Australia. Just like in Korea, the government has proposed a legislation that obligates App Store owners to get their content rated.

Adobe Abandons iPhone Development

It seems like Adobe has given up on the dream to launch Flash apps/players on the iPhone. The company will still deliver the iPhone compiler with Flash CS5, but it will already be an end-of-life product.

Bad news for web services and Adobe as Apple has updated the terms and conditions for iPhone developers yet again. Through article 3.3.1 the use of external compilers has been prohibited.

Motorola Limits Backflip to Android Market

Motorola seems to have limited their new Backflip phone to only allow apps that have been purchased or downloaded over Android Market. With this move, consumers can no longer shop around.

Apple Bans Wi-Fi Scanning Apps

Adult Ban Kills 5.000 Apps on App Store

Last Friday we wrote about Wobble/iBoobs being removed from the App Store as Apple tightened the rules about adult/erotic apps. According to a call the developer had with Apple, 5.000 apps are banned.
