Bada It seems the end is over for the dumbphone if we have to believe Samsung. Though the manufacturer still creates a large amount of feature phones, it is expected that Bada will be their new OS.

Bada Developer Portal Launches

Bada Samsung has unveiled their new Bada developer portal. It will allow all developers to sign up and submit their applications for the platform. At the same time, they can also enter the Developer Challenge that is still running.

Bada At the Bada presentation, Samung also announced the Bada category for the Samsung Developer Challenge. The company set up a price pot worth $ 2.7 Million in total.

Bada Today, Samsung showed the first version of the Basa OS to the public. With the Bada platform, Samsung hopes to build a smartphone platform that will address the needs of many different consumer types.

Samsung Drops Symbian for Bada

Bada Samsung has announced a new Open Source OS called Bada. The first Bada device is expected to hit the shelves during the first six months of 2010. To warm up developers, it announced that Bada will replace Symbian OS.
