Sony’s SmartWatch Hits the States

Sony has released its SmartWatch in the US. The SmarWatch is a followup to the SonyEricsson LiveView and allows Android phones to send updates to it. In return, the SmartWatch can be used as a remote for mobile apps.

Apple Blocks Apps that Request UID Access!?

Google: Android Apps not Illegal

Google responded to Tweakers.net about the claims from EU commissioner Viviane Reding about Android apps illegally sharing data with advertisers. Google states the claim is wrong as Android doesn’t handle data the way Viviane explains it.

MWC: App Devs to pay for AT&T Data Usage

Apps Increasingly Important to Barnes & Noble

You put a full colour e-reader on the market and just as you think everybody will start reading in full colour, consumers turn out to use it for what it is, a tablet. Still it is nothing for Barnes & Noble to worry about as apps turn out to be great business to them.
