App Store Passes 3bn Milestone

IFAW Launches App for Fundraising

Developer Bypasses Apple for Updates

iPhone Leading Sales in the US

In Nielsen’s latest report, the analyst shows that the iPhone is now holding 4% of the market. With this achievement, Apple has beaten the BlackBerry in one of the most important markets. BB is now second with 3.7% for the 8300 series devices.

Apple Slashes 1K Apps for Fake Reviews

Apple has taken down all one thousand apps from a developer called MoLinker. The reason for taking them down is a huge amount of fake reviews to propel it’s title upward in the charts.

Dutch Consumer Authorities Complaint about Apple

Last weekend, Apple got slashed on Dutch TV for ignoring warrantee obligations as defined according to Dutch law. Consumer Authorities are now joining forces to try and convince Apple to operate in-line with the law.

New iPhone Spotted

Apple has started field tests with a new generation iPhone. This iPhone was spotted by developer Pandav who reported it to MacRumors.com. The new iPhone identifies itself as iPhon3,1. The current iPhone 3Gs is known as iPhone2,1.
