Samsung’s Galaxy S WiFi Devices to Hit Europe

Samsung has announced it will start selling the Galaxy S mediaplayers in Europe. The 5 inch devices will premiere in Switzerland while Russia will be the first country to sell the 4 inchers.

AirPush, The Next Level in Advertgaming

Verizon Warns Consumers About GPS Tracking

AMD Won’t Build ARM CPU’s

There have been some rumours going around that AMD would have acquired a licence to build ARM based CPU’s.  The vendor has now announced it has no plans for ARM chips at all.

Sony Set to Launch Playstation Tablets

Sony has announced their first two Android 3.0 tablets. Both of them will support Playstation Suite and Qriocity. Nothing strange so far apart for the fact that the S2 has a very interesting formfactor.

Intel to Port Android to x86

Intel has announced it’s plans to port Android 3.0 to their x86 architecture. This will allow hardware vendors to build tablets and other hardware using Google’s open source operating system on Intel chips.

Gartner: iPad to Dominate till 2016

Dispite growing competition, Gartner predicts that Apple’s iPad will dominate the market until the end of 2015 at which the analyst predicts a turning-point in tablet history.

Porting QT to Android Pretty Easy!?

According to CuteHacks, it doesn’t take much to convert QT apps to run on the Android platform. IN a blogpost, one of the developers claims all it takes are a couple of lines of code that need to be changed.
