AT&T Acquires T-Mobile US

AT&T has bought competitor T-Mobile US from Deutche Telecom. AT&T paid $39 billion for the operator that just introduced the new Sidekick to the North American market.

Facebook Acquires Snaptu

Facebook has acquired Snaptu, a developer of mobile apps that focuses on the J2me market for feature phones. The two companies were already working on a mobile Facebook client for J2me devices. Facebook paid $70 million for the J2me developer.

Activision to Acquire Take Two Interactive!?

THQ Sells THQ Wireless

Zynga Acquires Area/Code

Zynga has acquired Area/Code, a developer well known for it’s Drop 7 game. Zynga didn’t announce the sum of the acquisition but did say it will rebrand the studio into Zynga New York.
