Vodafone Abandons 360 Phone Development

Vodafone has announced that it will no longer be developing and selling devices specifically for its 360 services. Instead, it will start to bring the 360 services to existing phones.

According to developer BlueMedialab, Vodafone is about to launch their own version of the Android Market. It will be called Android App Shop and it will launch in 8 European markets.

Vodafone Launches Brew Phone in EU Markets

MWC: 300.000 360 Devices in the Market

Vodafone has been pushing their 360 devices for only a few months and already the operator has sold over 300.000 handsets. Vodafone has 7.000 apps and games for those devices.

Xbox Chief Heads to Apple

Apple’s iPhone is already more often compared to handheld consoled then other mobile phones. It seems Apple is set to expand their iPhone as a gaming device as they hired Richard Teversham, a former senior director for the Xbox console.
