Ovi, Nokia’s step to open up mobile content to consumers seems to be biting the Finish giant as T-Mobile Germany announced not to sell Ovi supporting handsets at this moment.
With this step, T-Mobile is the first operator to let Nokia know it’s not welcome when it moves into the operator’s mobile content market. T-Mobile made this decision based on the fact that the Ovi service has far to much overlap with T-Mobile’s own T-Zones services. Since Germany is an important market, and more or less the home of T-Mobile, a solution is expected soon.
