Square Enix is dedicated on increasing the range of internally developed mobile games. As so, the company has planned to open up a new mobile game development studio in Japan.
The studio is expected to open up this April in the city of Sapporo, far from Square Enix’ headquarters in Tokyo. Yoichi Haraguchi, the current head of mobile, will lead the new studio.
