Marc van der Chijs, the Spil Games Asia CEO, expects that Spil Games will be leading the mobile games market in about three years. The company expects that the market will move to Flash Lite.
The company already managed to get the prestigious domain name games.mobi and turned it into a Flash Lite portal. Players who log on can play the Flash Lite games for free IF their devices support them. Flash Lite support is still a huge issue for developers, which often results in small developers putting mobile games in the market which run on “the average device”.
Next to games.mobi, Spil Games also owns a very successful J2me based mobile games portal in China. Efforts of the company to launch in Europe and the US haven't been successful yet.
Congratulations
