South Korea to Accept the iPhone 4

August 4th, 2010 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Platforms: iOS | No Comments »

South Korea has approved the iPhone 4 for launch on their mobile market. South Korea is very strict about allowing mobile phones from non-Korean manufacturers on its market.

South Korea is an important market for device vendors as of the 49 million people living there, 45 million use a mobile phone. The iPhone 4 is expected to launch around November, just like the 3GS did last year. The last reports say that Apple sold 800.000 3GS units in South Korea.
