SonyEricsson Tests 3D Screens!?

August 3rd, 2011 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Platforms: AndroidOS | 1 Comment »

Following HTC and LG, SonyEricsson is rumoured to be testing new autostereoscopic 3D screens for its mobile phones. That step would be late, but logical since SE’s objective is to offer the best entertainment experience.

According to the rumours, SE is testing 4.7 inch screens with a resolution of 1280×720. An ideal screen also for showing off HD content. SonyEricsson is not the only vendor trying to catch up. Samsung is currently working on the Galaxy Q that’s also 3D.

Yaay, because we really need more 3d in our entertaiment! Actually, no, we don’t need that. How about leaving 3d to James Cameron and backing the hell away from it, huh, guys?
