SonyEricsson Drops Symbian Support

September 27th, 2010 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Platforms: AndroidOS, Platforms: Symbian, Platforms: Windows Mobile | No Comments »

It seems Nokia will be the only European company to support Symbian the coming time as SonyEricsson announced that it has chosen Android above the good old Symbian platform.

Next to Android, SE is still planning several Windows Phone 7 devices, bringing its strategy in-line with competitor HTC. It will however stay part of the Symbian Foundation for now.
