Sony Starts Sony Ericsson Rebranding Campaign

With the first Xperia’s with the Sony logo on the shelves, Sony has started a global promotional campaign to introduce itself as well as the new slogan “Made of Imagination” to the (smartphone) consumer.

For the campaign, Sony has hired Hollywood director Wes Anderson to create a special TV commercial that lasts up to 60 seconds and shows how Xperia smartphones are “Made of Imagination”. Next to the commercial, Sony also invested in print, online and outdoor adverts.
