Sony One Combines Xperia and Vaio Branches

Under Sony’s CEO to be (starting April 1st) Kazuo Hirai, Sony will be restructured. The restructuring leads to a new Sony with a three-pillar approach. In that approach, the Xperia and Vaio products will be coming from a combined unit.

Both Xperia and Vaio products will be part of the new Sony Mobile pillar. The other two pillars will be imaging and gaming. Gaming has always been very successful for Sony. The mobile division will be headed by Kunimasa Suzuki.
