Bad news for companies whose business models are to release dedicated apps for internet radio stations. Apple started rejecting the first bunch of them on behalf of article 2.20 of the iOS App Review Guidelines.
Developers ‘spamming’ the App Store with many versions of similar apps will be removed from the iOS Developer Program.
The first developer to be confronted with this issue is DJBApps whose radio apps have been rejected in the review process. In an interview with Radio Magazine, the developer says to even have received confirmation from Steve Jobs that the rejection based on article 2.20 is valid.
