Spaceworks Entertainment and SilverBirch announced to have started the
production of a mobile game related to the Ice Planet HD-TV Sci-Fi
Series that features Michael Ironside.
The game that SilverBirch is producing will be a mobile RPG and features not only the scenes from the series, but also all characters like Michael Ironside himself.
SpaceWorks CEO said that with Ice Planet, “We wanted to bring the gaming community back to television”. A console game is also to begin production in 2008, coinciding with the season finale of the TV series.
SilverBirch Studios VP Jason Azevedo says that they’re very excited about working on the Ice Planet Project. It is an honor, he says, to be part of an original and ground-breaking sci-fi franchise such as Ice Planet.
