French operator SFR has warned iPhone 3G owners not to upgrade their devices to Apple’s new iOS 4. The operator also warns that downgrading is impossible.
The 3G related problems have been existing for months already and many repair companies have already sent out warnings but operators have never touched the subject till now. This move from SFR will without doubt put pressure on the relationship between the operator and Apple.
