SE’s WebSDK Bridges Symbian and Android Development

November 23rd, 2009 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Platforms: AndroidOS, Platforms: Symbian | No Comments »

Sonyericsson SonyEricsson has revealed their new WebSDK. With the SDK, developers can now create apps and games based on HTML, CSS and JS that will run on both the Satio and Xperia X10.

The SDK is freely available from SonyEricsson’s developer site and has been created in close corporation with the PhoneGap community. Needless to say, games based on this SDK will probably not be able to replace those developed in J2me or other technologies.
