Selatra has signed a deal with Vimpelcom in order to make available their catalogue of mobile games in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States.
With the deal, Selatra will also deliver a complete download platform for the Vimpelcom Group. To the consumers, the games will pop-up on the Beeline web and wap channels. Vimpelcom is active in Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Georgia and Armenia.
"We have chosen Selatra to partner with us because of their longstanding expertise in the mobile games business, their flexible support and their unrivalled games catalogue," said Vimpelcom Marketing Director, Zinaida Khokhlova. "We are looking forward to a long-term strategic relationship between our two companies because Selatra’s end-to-end gaming solutions open up new business opportunities for us," he said.
"Vimpelcom will benefit from our robust, scalable games service that saves them time, money and helps build new revenue streams quickly." said Sean Cronin, CEO of Selatra. "This contract win was facilitated greatly by the support of the Enterprise Ireland Moscow office with whom we work closely"
Good news for them of course, but I do wonder if there is any real decent money in it?
