In an exclusive interview from ME, Tim Green spoke with Christopher David (Head of Developer and partner engagement at SonyEricsson) about what SE's new app store will be offering toward the development community.
One of the most important things is that SonyEricsson will make a difference between tier one developers and the rest. Tier One developers will for example get a 5-days-to-market premiss from the vendor.
The company is also doing a global tour where it will visit 15 locations all over the world to meet the developers. Each show has about 20 to 50 developers visiting.
For the non-Tier-One developers, the app store will handle game submissions within a 30 day time frame. Developers will get a 70/30 revshare deal and payments occur on a monthly level when the outstanding revenue payments is at least
