While Samsung recently said they were looking into a new platform for app development on both their mobile phones and internet@tv service, the company has now announced to start support for Google TV.
The company will be launching several TV’s along next year that will support the special variant of Android. All TV’s from Samsung will be running on an Intel CPU, but that’s pretty much all technical info there is. In regards to compatibility with the hardware from Sony and Logitech, we expect porting will be a bliss. What Samsung will do with internet@tv and the apps for that platform, we don’t know.
Congratulations
