Samsung Departs from Symbian

Following in SonyEricsson’s footsteps, Samsung also announced to stop using Symbian for its smartphones. Samsung will focus on Android, Windows Phone 7 and of course its own Bada OS.

Just like SonyEricsson, Samsung will remain a member of the Symbian Foundation for now, but is not clear about future plans for its participation in the Symbian Foundation.
