Russian Content Market Still Not Booming

According to Cnews, Russia’s mobile content and gaming market is still not ready to boom, but will grow around 20% along 2007.

A reason for this stagnation in growth would be the fact that users are not able or at least willing to discover what content awaits them along the normal operator route. The mobile content and gaming piracy however does seem to be booming.

“I believe subscribers either do not know or are simply afraid to use their handsets advanced functions, avoiding money losses, – Dmitry Smirnov, Head of the Mobile Service Department of the Investment Holding Finam believes.
