Rovio has launched a new free version of Angry Birds on Apple’s App Store. The title competes directly with the Angry Birds and Angry Birds Lite versions licensed to EA owned publisher Chillingo.
The new free version of Angry Birds features 12 new levels that are not in the original game and is ad-supported. It is likely that Angry Birds Free will follow the same route as the Android version of the game. The move also further affirms that Rovio is committed to creating a distance between itself and Chilingo.
Congratulations
