Rovio Acquires Futuremark Games

Following the acquisition of animation studio Kombo, Rovio has made a second acquisition. This time, it took control over Futuremark Games Studio. The gaming branch of 3DMark inventors Futuremark.

Just like Rovio, Futuremark Games Stdio is based in Finland, which eases communication. Though Rovio did not make any comments on their plans for Futuremark, the company did call the acquired studio a superb addition to the team. This suggest plain expansion of development resources.
