While most launch partners are totally happy with the PR push Microsoft is giving them in regards to the launch of Windows Phone 7, the company seems to have stepped on the toes of Rovio.
On the launch site of Windows Phone 7, Microsoft suggests that the game Angry Birds will be available on Windows Phone 7. Rovio however tweeted that the developer is not commited to Windows Phone 7 and stated the icon is used without permission of the developer. Microsoft removed the icon now and Rovio commented tweeded “we didn’t get mad, just wanted to set the record straight. And we haven’t said we wouldn’t do WP7“.
Seriously Rovio? You over-estimate your importance to the world.
