Riven First 1GB Game on iOS

December 15th, 2010 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Platforms: iOS | No Comments »

While Android developers are happy Google pushed the filesize limit of their apps to 50MB, the guys behind Riven have broken a new record on the App Store by releasing a game 1GB in size.

The full game is 1.038MB in size which is close to the original size of the game. Since Riven was a point and click game, it must have been a pretty easy conversion for the developers of Cyan Worlds.
