RIM has unveiled their own version on mobile social networking and mobile social gaming with the announcement of BBM which stands for BlackBerry Messaging.

It will connect 28 million BlackBerry users and allow them to share what they are doing on their devices as well as play games together. It is even possible to achieve real-time data sharing between users of the same app. With this move, RIM is following Apple’s release of Game Center and Microsoft’s XBLA plans for Windows Phone.
