RIM Expects to sell 1 Million Playbooks in Q1

DigiTimes claims that Research in Motion expects to ship 1 million Playbooks to retailers in the first quarter of 2011 while the official release date still has to be confirmed by RIM itself.

According to the DigiTimes report, Quanta Computer has already started mass production of the Wi-Fi only version of the device. A 3G version will follow soon after and this year will also see the launch of a 4G version for Sprint.
