RIM Acquires Viigo

March 29th, 2010 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Companies & M&A | No Comments »

Rim RIM has acquired Viigo. Viigo is the developer of a BlackBerry app with the same name. The Viigo app is able to deliver real-time information from a variety of sources, something important to the business market.

The amount of money spent on the developer is unknown as well as the future for the unit. It is likely RIM wants to integrate the technology into their platform.
