Research in Motion just announced that Scoreloop will become part of the Blackberry Developer Team to bring in their experience in creating social gaming networks.
RIM was already in the social game with their BBM Social Platform, but with Scoreloop on board, that platform will get a serious boost. No word on the price for this acquisition or what will happen next. RIM is known to acquire companies and limit their services to the RIM platforms, which would be a shame.
