Connect2Media has now officially announced the acquisition of Israel based aggregator RayFusion, something we got tipped about just yesterday.
"Connect2Media is
an exciting forward looking company and we are enthusiastic about
what we can achieve together," said Doron Kagan, Co CEO of
RayFusion. "Connect2Media has excellent relationships with
major carriers around the world which will allow us to broaden our
already significant distribution network and cementing our position
as a leading distributor of mobile games. RayFusion will use the new
full distribution coverage to offer its suppliers a wider
distribution network with the same high standard of performance,
reporting and payments."
Israel-based RayFusion
will continue to operate as a standalone entity with operational
independence from Connect2Media. It will retain its name and
corporate identity and there will be no changes to its personnel or
operations. However Connect2Media’s support will enable
RayFusion to refine the development of its ‘mobile content
technology set’ which will create a real point of
differentiation for RayFusion content suppliers and raise the bar on
service levels and transparency.
"RayFusion is a
major player in the global mobile content distribution market and we
are delighted to announce this transaction," said Eric Hobson,
CEO of Connect2Media. "RayFusion have an impressive roster of
titles and have shown exciting growth. We believe we can leverage our
complementary strengths to boost the group’s 360 degree
approach to digital media to encompass entertainment properties
across multiple platforms."
Ahhhh.. so HANDSON becomes an aggregator!!!
Or is it RAYFUSION becomes a publisher???
