Qualcomm has announced a major deal with the 3 operator group as they will provide the group with several Brew based devices in the coming time. This deal follows on their deal with TIM Italy earlier.
The deal means another important step forward for Qualcomm to bring their Brew technology to Europe. The biggest benefit of Brew based devices is the ease of content discovery and purchase, but it does mean the mobile gaming offer will be pretty much different. Primarily US based game developers will benefit here due to their longer relationship with the technology.
The 3 operator group is currently active in the UK, Australia, Austria, Sweden, Denmark, Hong Kong, Israel and Ireland.
Congratulations
