In cooperation with iGameStats, MGB will be releasing a quarterly quality report for the App Store. In this edition, Big Blue Bubble turns out to be the best publisher and Plants vs. Zombies is the best game.
To get to the best games, iGameStats only ranked games that received at least three reviews. Plants vs. Zombies received 11 reviews with an average score of 90%. Second place goes to gaming legend Rockstar with their Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. That game received 9 reviews that game us an average score of 89%.
To calculate the best publishers, we counted those that received at least three reviews over at least two games. Big Blue Bubble made it to the top of the list with a 79.3% average on three games and five reviews. Freeverse ranks second with four games and eleven reviews at an average of 78.5%. UK based publisher TAG Games ranked third with two releases and eleven reviews at a 76.5% average.
When you say that Big Blue Bubble made it to the top of the list with three games and five reviews – can you please define what a “review” is considered in your methodology please? My apologies if this has been stated before. Thanks – feel free to email me.
We have taken into account reviews from the most popular mobile and iPhone game review sites (Pocker Gamer, Slide To Play, TouchGen, JmobiL, etc.). You can check the individual reviews for Big Blue Bubble here:
