It was uncertain for some time, but now Palm confirmed that a GSM configuration of their WebOS based Palm Pre device will finally head to Europe.
According to the Guardian, O2 UK will be the lucky operator to have the honours of introducing the phone to the European market. Interestingly enough, O2 also has the honour to have an exclusive deal on Apple's iPhone. Both are direct competitors in the US markets. This means that O2 is further securing their position on the UK market.
