PopCap Secured $22.5 Million Funding

October 6th, 2009 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Companies & M&A | 1 Comment »

Popcap-games PopCap has just confirmed it's first round of funding and has successfully raised $ 22,5 million in it. The funding round was lead by Meritech Capital Partners.

The company will use the investment as working capital and to perform acquisitions. What makes this deal interesting apart from the use amount is the fact that the company has been profitable and hasn't needed any funding before.
