PopCap Games has chosen to start selling mobile games on a D2C basis.
The company already had a lot of experience in this field with their
regular web games.
To date, PopCap games are played on the Web, desktop computers, myriad mobile devices (cell phones, smartphones, PDAs, Pocket PCs, iPod and more), popular game consoles (such as Xbox), and even in-flight entertainment systems. PopCap games have been downloaded more than 1 billion times by consumers worldwide and we estimate PopCap games have consumed a phenomenal 16 billion hours of consumer leisure time across all platforms since 2001!
