Polarbit announced the release of their latest 3D shooter Armageddon Squadron. Through Apple's App Store, the game is instantly available for the iPhone and iPod Touch.
Armageddon Squadron gives players the chance to try their wings with the best known aircraft of the WWII era in a variety of mission types and environments. Mission objectives include bombing and strafing raids against facilities and convoys, protection of ground troops against enemy aircraft and, of course, action-packed dogfights against enemy aces. The game features smooth accelerometer controls making flying a joy and 3D graphics rivalling anything hitherto seen in an AppStore title.
“Armageddon Squadron represents a slight departure for us in terms of gameplay style compared to Raging Thunder, WaveBlazer and Crash Nitro Kart. It proves beyond any doubt that Polarbit are capable of delivering top-notch games regardless of genre or game type.” says Anders Nilsson, co-founder and CTO at Polarbit
