PocketGamer has announced the finalists of the PocketGamer Awards 2010. The list is divided between the iPhone (9), other mobile platforms (7) in general and handheld consoles (6).
The winners of the awards will be announced during the GDC in San Francisco on an event sponsored by Scoreloop and MplayIt.
"Having looked at hundreds of titles, we're delighted to have whittled the list down to the very best of 2009,” said PG editor Rob Hearn, “a year that saw iPhone grab most of the headlines, while Java hung in with some of the best mobile games the platform as seen so far. Handheld releases were also strong, with consistent publisher support for DS and renewed focus on PSP resulting in a number of unmissable titles.”
