Next month, developers can start making use of the open beta SDK for the Playstation Suite service. Sony has performing closed beta testing before, but stuck to mostly Japanese, US and UK developers.
The move signals the expansion of the number of Playstation Certified devices. Although it is likely Sony will build more Xperia devices with Playstation Suite, there are also rumours the company might license the technology to third party hardware vendors and even introduce Playstation Suite to the PS Vita system. That last move would make Playstation Suite a direct competitor for the current Minis service.
