Playphone Secures $ 18.75 Million in Third Round Funding

U.S. based mobile games and content portal operator Playphone has
announced to have received $ 18.75 million in their third and latest
financing round.

The financing round was led by Scale Venture Partners and was joined by Cardinal Venture Partners and Menlo Ventures. They where all existing partners in the company already. The funding will be used to expand operations to new international markets. Sharon Wienbar, MD at Scale Venture Partners has joined Playphone’s board of directors.
