PG’s iPad Analysis

Pocket-gamer While Apple is busy testing new apps and games for the iPad, PocketGamer started crunching over the iPad game announcements they received over the past weeks.

The most popular category is Puzzle Games at 32%. Action follows at 12% while Sports is at 10%. 65% of the games are ports from iPhone games. 16% is new and 10% comes from consoles.

44% of iPad developers and indie developers. 31% are publishers while 23% are mid-tier developers. 48% of the iPad development comes from the US. The UK represents 10% and Canada 7%.
