During Palms latest earnings call, freshly appointed CEO Jon Rubinstein announced that Palm Pre owners generated 1 million downloads from their App Store, even though the portfolio is not beefed up yet.
In the weekend following the release, the Pre already generated 150.000 downloads. The rest was generated during the three weeks after. Jon did not comment on the question of how many devices are out there. This makes it hard to predict if Pre consumers are happy with the limited app offering in comparison to iPhone owners.
