Though the amount of official Palm Pre news is still limited, MGB TV is currently showing what the “Classic” emulator can do for old PalmOS titles that are running within the new WebOS platform.
The Classic emulator amulates the original Palm buttons on the touchscreen. As so, it is supporting applications on a 320×320 max resolution (i.e. Treo and Centro). It can run both 68k and ARM code. The missing SD slot will be emulated in a set directory in the filesystem. No Hotsync. No access to private data (PIM). No access to hardware (i.e. Bluetooth). You cannot multitask with emulated titles.
